About Randburg

For visitors, Randburg offers a mix of shopping malls, office parks, and residential streets. The Northgate shopping and entertainment complex is a major retail destination, while the Coca-Cola Dome (now the Ticketpro Dome) hosts concerts and events. The area is also home to several corporate headquarters and has a range of hotels, from budget to upscale, serving both business and leisure travellers.

Randburg is well connected by road to Sandton, Rosebank, and central Johannesburg. It is a practical base for exploring northern Johannesburg, with easy access to the N1 highway and major routes. While it lacks the concentration of tourist sights found in central Johannesburg or Sandton, it provides a quieter, suburban alternative with its own commercial and entertainment amenities.
